Happy First of June!
I just recently bought the raved about Triangl bikini in California Coral, and I love the texture of the neoprene and the fit, and I am very excited to wear it. I went to a pool party wearing One Teaspoon's Eagles Shadow Bikini Top at the Mondrian in Los Angeles the other weekend, at their rooftop bar and it was like Vegas in Los Angeles, full of trendy people and blasting music. Then I had to get a little sugar kick, and I don't normally buy Starbucks Frappucino's but I decided to try it out, and it really is a drink that is just like liquid dessert! It is something I would treat myself rarely, but it definitely tastes sweet and is delicious. My new favorite macaron is the sea salt caramel, the opposite flavors are like a party for your tastebuds. I'll have to learn how to make them sometime soon!

New Headshots!
I got new headshots recently, which I am super excited about. I had them done by the amazing Betsy Newman at Betsy Newman Photography, and I absolutley love her work and shooting with natural light to achieve different lighting affects. I was really happy with the outcome, and one day after I posted my headshots, I received an audition for a new upcoming TV series!

Full Body Shot for Acting
For my new acting pictures, I decided to get rid of my outdated full body photo and take new pictures. I wanted to make it simple with just a white tee and jean shorts as to not distract from the overall picture, so that Casting Directors' can more accurately see what I look like. After I was done with my "serious photos", I decided to have a bit of fun and goofed around while taking pictures.

Under the Sea Birthday
I had an order for an Under the Sea birthday cake, which I made over the weekend. It was 2 layers, of vanilla and strawberry with vanilla buttercream frosting, and tinted and piped like waves on the outside. Unfortunately, I could not get good enough lighting as it was cloudier out, but the seashell on top had a little pearl inside, and gold lustre dust all over, which made it sparkly. The cake was for a little girl named Estelle's first birthday. Her mom decorated an entire part of the park with a bubble machine, lined sparkly tables with goodies, and had attendees dress up in Under the Sea themed costumes. There were little girls dressed up as mermaids, playing with bubbles, and it was truly a wonderful and memorable birthday. I wish I had a party like that when I was a child!

Mother's Day
For Mother's Day I made a bouquet of flowers cake. All flowers and stems are made out of fondant, which was originally white and I tinted a variety of colors. For the flowers, I simply cut into one inch strips and rolled up into a little flower bud. The cake is chocolate with vanilla buttercream frosting.

I had a fun time trying out an all green background for shooting outfits, and my entire outfit is from Topshop.
