French Macaron with a cup of Tea

I made some hot pink french macarons and bought my own teacup from Daiso Japan and had to make some English Breakfast Tea to use my lovely new cup.

La County Fair

Went to the LA County fair and had to take pictures of the sweets and a little bit of finger candy.

Baking Cakes

I decided to bake a hot chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate cake, and try out my rose piping on a smaller cake, with ombre mint, which is my favorite color.

Griffith Park Photoshoot

My sister and I went to Griffith Park to do a photoshoot as she is trying to build a photography portfolio and we wanted to test out the camera more, and take shots with her polaroid camera that she bought from the Melrose Flea Market. She picked out my outfits and makeup and told me how she wanted the pictures to be, as she had a vision and followed through on her plan. We even got to use a white horse in the photoshoot as the owner thought it was cool we were doing the photoshoot and lent us his horse for several shots.

Lemonade

My sister and I went out to Lemonade on this warm sunny day, and decided to test out our new camera, Canon T3, that we received as a guest from our Aunt.

Pet Turtles

My sister and my turtles are growing up! They like to walk around in the yard while we clean their aquarium.

Dad's Birthday

I made a cake for my Dad's birthday, and he said as long as the cake was mango, I could make it pink. Naturally, I made a mango cake and then wanted to learn new piping techniques, so I taught myself how to do a ombre rose cake, and I bought three different types of pink food dye at Michaels and was excited to try them all out on my buttercream icing. It was so easy, all I had to do was buy a Wilton #1 tip, and pipe in a circle!
